17th April 2010, Saturday - Istanbul - Ankara - Cappadoccia
08.30 Early morning departure for Ankara, where you will visit Ataturk’s mousaleum and the arcgaeological museum. Then off to Cappadoccia for evening check in. Overnight Cappadoccia.

18th April 2010, Sunday - Cappadoccia
Fully guided day tour of Cappadoccia. Lunch included. On tour you’ll go down into an underground city with many levels and see the way people lived during the time of the crusades. Hike through Ilhara Valley, a rock monastery hidden away in a lush valley, filled with cave churches and visit the amazing rock formations of the area. Overnight Cappadoccia.

19th April 2010, Monday - Cappadoccia
Free day. Option of taking a sunrise balloon ride over the area, hiring a scooter, walk the may valleys or shop in the many trinket shops in the town centre. Overnight Cappadoccia.

20th April 2010, Tuesday - Cappadoccia - Kutahya
Visit the town where the history of the famous hand-painted plates of Turkey began. See the designers and painters at work. Overnight Kutahya.

21st April 2010, Wednesday - Kutahya
Visit Turkey’s most famous porcelain factories and display halls. Overnight Kutahya.

22nd April 2010, Thursday - Kutahya
Drive to Eceabat and check in to hotel. Overnight at Eceabat.

23rd April 2010, Friday - Gallipoli tour
8.00–10.00 Breakfast awaits.
8.30 Documentary: The Fatal Shore
Children’s day celebrations start in the town centre at 9am. Great chance to see the traditional folk dances of the area. This is a free display with music and dancing.

13.00 Restaurant lunch to start off the tour
Departure for Gallipoli battlefield tour of the ANZAC area.
5 hour tour visiting:

• Kabatepe War Museum.
• Beach Cemetery (John Simpson's grave).
• ANZAC Cove.
• Ari Burnu - first ANZAC landing place.
• Dawn Service Site – seeing the layout will give you an idea of where to head for good views.
• Lone Pine - main Australian memorial.
• Johnson's Jolly - walk in the original ANZAC & Turkish trenches and view the tunnels.
• Turkish memorial.
• The Nek - main scene depicted in the movie Gallipoli.
• Chunuk Bair - main memorial for the New Zealand soldiers
Already toured Gallipoli with us before? Then you could use the day to go exploring in the trenches.
Overnight Gallipoli accommodation.

24th April 2010, Saturday - Gallipoli Peninsula
8.00–10.00 Breakfast awaits. Today gives you a chance to see the interantional service in Cape Helles. The rest of the day is free for you to do as you please. A good sleep in the late afternoon is recommended. Take the opportunity to experience a traditional Turkish bath, check out the town of Eceabat, walk to the castle in the next village or visit the ruins of Troy and stock up on munchies for the big day to come.
18:00 Check out of your room and place your bags in the luggage compartment of your bus, ready for your return journey after the services.
19:00 Join the convoy of TJs TOURS buses for departure to the Dawn Service site where we will grab a space in the large crowd and wait, listening to the pre dawn program.

25th April 2010, Sunday - ANZAC Day Services
05:30 Dawn Service commences as the sun breaks the skyline behind the Turkish Sphinx.
07:30 While waiting for your bus to transfer you to the next service you can eat breakfast on the grass with the group or feel free to tell your leader that you want to go exploring; take your breakfast pack and walk the ridges and old trenches to the next service. Australian and/or New Zealand National services. (Service times for these have yet to be released)
Lunch at a restaurant back in town.
Late afternoon: Depart for Istanbul. The bus will drop you as close as possible to your choice of accommodation. There will be stop on the way where you can buy dinner.
End of tour.
